Terms of Use
Last updated:
These terms address use of EchoLens Digital, the learning and operations platform identified in company materials as EchoLens (SMC-Private) Limited, Pakistan. Business address: Cheema Road, Opposite Garden Town, Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan. Questions: info@echolens.digital.
Accounts and responsibilities
Provide accurate registration information, keep your sign-in credentials private, and report suspected account misuse. Use the permissions assigned to your role. Learner access, staff workspaces, recruiter access and public browsing have different permissions. There is no minimum age for a learner account. If you are under 18 you must have a parent or guardian's permission to enroll, and you confirm at signup either that you are 18 or older or that you have that permission. That confirmation is a declaration you make yourself; EchoLens does not verify it or contact your parent or guardian. See the Privacy Policy for how a parent or guardian can ask about their child's data.
Acceptable use
Use the platform for lawful learning, teaching, recruitment and authorized administration. Do not impersonate another person, harass others, upload unlawful material, infringe intellectual-property rights, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, bypass assessment protections or falsify payment, attendance or certificate evidence. Submit work honestly and follow the assignment's rules about assistance and collaboration. Do not include credentials or unrelated personal data in compiler input or AI prompts.
Course materials and submitted work
Course materials, platform branding and software belong to EchoLens or their respective rights holders. Enrollment provides access for learning; it does not transfer ownership or permission to redistribute protected materials. Respect any license attached to a resource. Submit or publish only content you have permission to use. The platform processes submitted work for assessment and feedback; choosing to publish Talent projects or Showcase posts makes the selected content visible through those features.
Enrollment, assessments and certificates
Free courses are self-paced and have course-specific assessment and completion requirements. Learners can hold up to two active free courses. Each free-course enrollment has a three-calendar-month completion window; incomplete enrollments expire while existing work is preserved. Admin restoration starts a fresh window. Paid cohort schedules and enrollment activation are confirmed through Admissions. Certificates depend on the applicable completion and review rules; the platform also supports audited admin overrides. Access or enrollment does not guarantee a job or any particular learning outcome.
Payments, cancellations and refunds
Paid-course registrations use fee challans, payment-stage tracking and manual payment verification. Check the selected course's current price and Admissions instructions before paying.
Course fees are not refundable once a registration is confirmed and the payment is verified. Confirm the course schedule, format and fee with Admissions before you pay, because the fee is not returned afterwards. If EchoLens cancels a course or does not deliver it, you may transfer to another cohort or to a course of equivalent value; where no suitable alternative is available, Finance resolves the matter with you directly. A duplicate or incorrect payment made in error is returned once it is verified against the challan record. Free courses involve no payment, so no refund applies to them. Send refund or payment questions to finance@echolens.digital.
External services and privacy
Optional sign-in, mail, video, AI and execution services have their own terms. Native-language compiler runs can send your source and input to Compiler Explorer; AI features can send relevant work to configured AI providers. Read the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for the data involved. External links are provided for their relevant purpose.
Availability and warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the platform and learning materials are provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free service. AI feedback and compiler output can be incorrect and should be assessed alongside the assignment requirements and instructor guidance. Nothing in these terms removes a right or warranty that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Limitation of liability
EchoLens's liability is limited to the extent permitted by the law of Pakistan. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that, EchoLens is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform.
Suspension and termination
The app supports account-status changes, moderation, enrollment removal and automatic expiry of incomplete free-course enrollments. Access can be restricted for misuse or unauthorized activity. Removal of access does not itself erase all historical records. Access can end in the ways the platform actually supports: an administrator changes your account status or removes the account, staff moderate or remove published content, an enrollment is removed with a recorded reason, or an incomplete free-course enrollment reaches the end of its three-calendar-month window and expires automatically. Expiry and removal preserve submitted work, grades and certificates; they do not erase historical records.
To appeal any of these, raise it through Contact & Support or email info@echolens.digital, identifying the account and what you are appealing. An administrator can restore an expired free-course enrollment, which starts a fresh three-month window. These terms do not set a fixed notice period or appeal deadline.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Gujranwala, Punjab have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Before starting formal proceedings, both sides will attempt to resolve the matter in good faith through Contact & Support.
Changes and questions
These terms can change; the last-updated date above identifies this revision. Contact info@echolens.digital with any question about them, or finance@echolens.digital about fees and payments.
