A deeper pass across n8n, Make, Zapier and AI agents wired into real business processes.
This is a 6-week short course - enough depth to build real projects and a portfolio piece, without a long commitment. It runs online in the August 2026 cohort (starting 1 August 2026) and is taught the EchoLens way: you learn by doing real, gradeable work rather than just watching lectures.

12 leveles, each with hands-on quests you clear in the portal.
- Level 1. Thinking in automations · Triggers, actions, connectors - Mapping a process, spotting what to automate and the ROI of a workflow, then the building blocks: triggers, actions, and how apps connect.
- Level 2. Choosing the tool · Your first cross-app flow - Make, n8n and Zapier compared on cost and complexity, then a real trigger-to-action scenario, tested and read from the run log.
- Level 3. Data mapping · Filters and routing - Moving fields between steps, JSON basics and formatting values, then conditions and multiple paths so a flow only runs when it should.
- Level 4. Error handling · Scheduling and webhooks - Catching failures with alerts and retries for reliable workflows, then time-based triggers and incoming webhooks for event-driven flows.
- Level 5. Email and calendar · Docs and databases - Auto emails, calendar events and inbox automations, then Sheets and Notion as a lightweight database for reading and writing records.
- Level 6. Messaging and alerts · CRM and forms - Slack and WhatsApp notifications and team updates, then form-to-record lead capture flows that keep a CRM current.
- Level 7. AI steps in a workflow · AI classify and route - Dropping an LLM into a flow, building the prompt from workflow data and using the reply, then sorting inputs and routing on intent for smarter branches.
- Level 8. AI content pipelines · Document extraction - Generating and repurposing content at scale with fixed output formats, then structured data out of invoices and forms with the HTTP-plus-AI scraper.
- Level 9. AI agents in automation · Memory and tools - The agent node that reasons and recovers beyond rigid flows, then giving an agent tools and memory until it works like a virtual coworker.
- Level 10. Orchestration · Cost, limits, governance - Multi-step tasks, handoffs and human approval gates, then operation and token cost, rate limits, and keeping control of the system.
- Level 11. Designing for a client · Documentation and handoff - Requirements first, a clean architecture with naming and structure, then the runbook, credentials and setup notes so others can run it.
- Level 12. Monitoring and upkeep · A productivity suite - Watching for failures, maintenance and versioning changes, then combining flows into one connected system worth paying for.

A Connected Business Automation Suite
Several workflows working as one system, documented and ready to hand to a client.
Design and build a small suite of connected automations that run a real business process end to end, from intake through AI processing to output and reporting. It is packaged with documentation and monitoring so a client could adopt it and run it without you.
- ✓A mapped business process with the automation opportunities identified

- ✓Cross-app integration across the productivity stack, such as sheets, email, chat, and a CRM or database
- ✓AI steps that classify, extract, or generate within the flow

Shipped when: The suite runs end to end on live test accounts, handles a realistic batch without duplicates or silent failures, and someone else could set it up from the runbook alone.

AI Automation Tools Track suits learners at a beginner to intermediate level who want a practical, project-based route into AI Automation Tools Track. You need only a browser and an internet connection - all coding runs inside the EchoLens compiler, so there is nothing to set up.
