About this course
Build real business automations that connect apps, data and AI - workflows agencies bill $30-70/hour for.
This is a focused 2-week bootcamp - short, intensive and built to give you one job-ready skill fast. It runs online in the August 2026 cohort (starting 1 August 2026) and is taught the EchoLens way: you learn by doing real, gradeable work rather than just watching lectures.
What's included
- Live, instructor-led online sessions across 2 weeks (8 hours total).
- Hands-on coding quests you solve inside the EchoLens browser compiler - nothing to install.
- Gems, stages and a leaderboard that keep you moving instead of grade anxiety.
- A verified certificate with a scannable QR code, ready to share on LinkedIn, when you finish.
- The first week is open free so you can try the course before you pay.
What you will learn
Course learning outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- CLO 1. Build multi-step automations in n8n or Make that connect real apps (Sheets, Gmail, Slack, Calendar) using triggers, data mapping, filters and conditional routing.
- CLO 2. Integrate AI model steps (Claude, GPT or Gemini) into a workflow to classify, summarise, translate and generate content from live data.
- CLO 3. Design, document and price a client-ready automation with error handling and deduplication that a business could deploy and pay for.
Course outline - class by class
8 classes, each with hands-on quests you clear in the portal - the whole first week is open free.
- Class 1. Your first working automation - What a workflow really is: the trigger-then-action shape, nodes, testing, and when to pick n8n vs Make
- Class 2. Working with data - Reading JSON, mapping fields node to node, filters, and formatting text, numbers and dates
- Class 3. Connecting the apps clients live in - Sheets, Gmail, Slack and Calendar connections, safe authentication, and the HTTP node for any API
- Class 4. Logic, routing, and not breaking - Routers and switches, conditions, error alerts, and the append-or-update dedupe trick
- Class 5. Adding AI to the workflow - Dropping a Claude/GPT/Gemini step into a flow, prompts built from live data, and the HTTP + AI scraper pattern
- Class 6. AI content and data pipelines - Chaining AI steps: content repurposing, sentiment, translation, and enforcing fixed output formats
- Class 7. AI agents and tool calling - The AI Agent node's four parts - chat model, system prompt, memory, tools - and the jump from workflow to agent
- Class 8. Capstone: a client-ready automation - Packaging, documenting and pricing your automation - plus the human check before anything auto-sends
How you submit: Quests submitted as Word or PDF reports and graded instantly.
Your production end project
AI Lead and Support Autopilot
A deployed automation a real business could run from day one.
A complete, live workflow that takes a business from raw inbound leads and messages to organised, AI-enriched, routed and responded-to records, with a daily digest in the owner's inbox - documented and packaged as a service you can actually sell.
- ✓Intake from two sources at once (web form or webhook + an email inbox) into one clean records sheet
- ✓AI enrichment that classifies every lead or message by intent and gives it a score
- ✓Deduplication on a unique key with append-or-update, so nothing is logged twice
- ✓Routing: hot leads to Slack with an AI-drafted reply, support messages to the right place, cold leads to nurture
- ✓An AI agent wired to a webhook that answers FAQs from a knowledge sheet like a chatbot
- ✓Error handling that alerts the moment a step fails
- ✓A scheduled daily AI digest email summarising every new lead
- ✓A one-page runbook plus a one-paragraph pitch a client could buy from
Shipped when: It runs end to end on live test accounts, handles a batch of ten sample leads correctly, and exports as a workflow file a client could import and deploy.
Who it's for
AI Automation with n8n & Make.com suits learners at a beginner level who want a practical, project-based route into AI Automation with n8n. You need only a browser and an internet connection - all coding runs inside the EchoLens compiler, so there is nothing to set up.
Certificate
Finish every stage and EchoLens issues a verified certificate carrying a QR code anyone can scan to confirm it on our site. You can add it to your CV or share it to LinkedIn in one click.
